Re: [App] "Skype replacement" root E/F
Only it is not clear, from which firmware "Skype replacement" method begins to work . The Skype replacement method is working on old firmware (as early as T-MST12DEUC-1102.1 on my F5500) ;) In my first test, root was auto-loading successfully and I had ftp access. Telnet was not configure...

Re: [App] "Skype replacement" root E/F
Firmware should be no higher than 1119, but not so old. Confirmed not working on UA40F5500 with T-MST12DEUC-1102.1 Confirmed working on UA40F5500 with T-MST12DEUC-1119.0 I had this problem yesterday when upgrading from Skype-root to non-Skype-root on T-MST12DEUC-1102.1. Re: eMMCFS -- Samsung eMMC chip oriented File System
I managed to successfully compile emmcfs.ko on Fedora 19 kernel 3.10, and have tested that mount/umount is working. The compiling procedure is a little different to what is described on this thread. I tried to make a patch that is compatible with Fedora and Ubuntu but I can't test on Ubuntu. Let us ...

Re: Samsung LED TV UA32F5000
Thats cool! Pity that all the ethernet components are unpopulated aswell. Do you know what processor it is using?
From what I can see, only the smart tv's come with ethernet... it could be a scaled-down version of e.g. the F5300![Idea ](./images/smilies/icon_idea.gif)

Installing 3rd-party drivers
I'm new to Samsung TV hacks so sorry if my questions seem stupid! I plan to buy E-series model soon. The way I understand is that the Samsung runs on a Linux OS. Is it possible to install 3rd-party drivers once there is root access? e.g. driver for USB Wi-Fi dongle. Open-source Linux drivers ...
