Re: [PC] SamyGO PVRDecoder for E/F/H series - Version 1.8.2.53

Well, i don't know the exact situation in Belgium, but i've just read something that said, they only broadcast HD channels, which are encrypted. In many other countries, you get the SD channels unencrypted, and the HD channels encrypted, but you can still watch the SD ones without needing a CI+ modu...

Re: Problem found with OTN Support "OFF"

I think that after a certain firmware version, Samsung has changed this, you can't disable it anymore. Meaning, you can't disable forced firmware updates by Samsung (which they sometimes like to do), unless you block the update servers in your internet router.

Re: [PC] SamyGO PVRDecoder for E/F/H series - Version 1.8.2.53

Do you know what i can try if recordings keep getting randomly cut off during the download from the TV? I often need to decrypt/download several times in order to get the full recording on my PC. Many times, the file isn't completely downloaded, for example when there's a 3.9 GB recording i end up w...

Re: [PC] SamyGO PVRDecoder for E/F/H series - Version 1.8.2.53

16 different AVs now detect it, and Avira with Cloud detection also detects it (only via Cloud, not via signatures). As for Avira, i sent them a report about a false positive. https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/908464f9601178d4e3004577e621c4e794b7b596244dfb369559a02e7b2c4941/analysis/1467545493/ I t...

Re: Problem found with OTN Support "OFF"

I can also finally confirm that

OTN Support OFF
+
OTA Support OFF

fixes the problem with the TV not turning off completely. So, thanks for that hint, it worked nicely. And no more forced updates from Samsung.

Re: Firmware 2600.4 released for H6200/H6400 models

Answers from the German Samsung support (translated): Regrettably, it was found that in the update version 2600.4, a bug is present which disables Dolby Digital audio tracks. The TVs currently only function in PCM. The bug has already been reported to our R&D department. We don't know when a new upd...
