Hi guys, I successfully rooted my TV months ago. Since I have some time and a new hdd I wanted to extract the keys to decrypt all the recordings that i have accumulated so far but it's a month that I try to connect to my TV with no success. Re: Inaccessible Hard Disk After 1 Recording
Well yes that is an option obviously but whenever I attach it either to the TV or the PC it does spins fine without any weird noise.
If anyone has any idea please let me know.

Re: Inaccessible Hard Disk After 1 Recording
windows dont recognize ext4 filesystem by default :-) Hi juuso thanks for the help. I am aware of that but the problem is that Windows should at least see the hdd and ask to format it. Also the hdd is not even recognized by the TV any longer nor seen under a linux system. Any idea on this? Thank you.

Inaccessible Hard Disk After 1 Recording
Hi guys, I created 2 partitions on a 3Tb usb hdd to use on my TV. One partition contained the "data"files while the other is formatted by the TV and used for the recordings. I think I messed up the data files or copied them incompletely but not sure. Anyway the drive, after 1 recording, ha...

Re: [PC] SamyGO PVRDecoder for E/F series - Version 1.5.3.1
When TV wants to format your FAT32-device, can you refuse ... Say "NO" ? And then under device-tools set it as default recording device anyway ? If i remember correctly it wasn't possible but to be able to test this again properly i need to empty the disk first so back to square one :) I ...

Hi Lordbyte thanks for the help. The first part i figured by myself infact i tried to delete the post but it says i am not allowed and wasn't quick enough in editing it. Re accessing the drive on the PC I think i already tried formatting it in fat32 but the TV always wants to format it with its own ...

Re: [PC] SamyGO PVRDecoder for E/F series - Version 1.4.0.2
Anyway considering the amount of stuff i record and my crappy slow wireless is there, or might there be in the future, a way to just hook the usb drive to my pc, transfer the files there and than "decrypt" them there? Sorry man, forgot to comment on that .... While your device is connecte...

Re: Dual Recording on 40F7000: How To?
Hi timtjohnson, I both called and wrote to support and different agents told me you can only record 1 channel and view another. Unfortunately i relied on the info i found on different reviews of out TVs which was clearly wrong. I don't see why you cannot at least record the other channel you are vie...

Dual Recording on 40F7000: How To?
Hi guys, Still experimenting with the TV but this model has 2 tuner and from what they write on the product's page it should be able to record 2 channels at once. Unfortunately I haven't been able yet, not even channels in the same mux. Can anyone tell me if it is actually possible and if so how? Th...
