Re: h series live stream over upnp ( dlna )
I know dlna was conceived for static content, but there's no reason why you couldn't inject dlna headers around a live stream and provide it to clients. the only drawback comparing to static content is the lack of seek, but in live content you don't really need seek. And there are already some dlna ...

h series live stream over upnp ( dlna )
Hi,
have anyone had any success feeding a dlna server with a livestream and then playing on a H series TV? I tried 2 dlna servers ( serviio and xupnpd ) but my H7000 refuses to play the live stream, saying the format is not supported. the same stream is working fine on D series TV.

H7000 iptv xupnpd
Hi Guys, I'm using xupnpd to watch live streams from a tvheadend. everything was working like a charm on my 40d8000 tv, but now I replaced it with a 40H7000, and tv refuses to play the stream, saying "The selected file is not currently supported" I assume it's from the xupnpd, maybe some d...

Samsung 40D8000 stuttering sound while playing stream
Hi, I'm transporting http stream over internet, feeding into xupnpd and playing it on the TV. All working fine while the internet connection is good, but when internet connection has higher latency, then the playback is hitchy ( noncontinuous ). I guess this could be worked around if the TV would bu...

Re: Samsung UE40D8000 bootloop ( powerloop )
Hi,
eeprom reset didn;t work for me . During the testing of different solutions my backlight LED's top 1/4 burned out, so I'm now looking for LED's strip to replace it.

Re: Samsung UE40D8000 bootloop ( powerloop )
unfortunately nohow so far . replaced power and main board but in the meantime the backlight burned out too, so still bootlooping. Seems that this is the common behavior for any errors, just bootloop .

Re: D series SoC eeprom research
the thing is there are 2 part numbers, one printed on the bord bn41-01622c which is the same on both, even on the d7000 is the same. but there's one more part-number on the label sticked on the board which differs, mine is BN94-4313R, and the 46d8000 one is BN94-4313S ... , I'm just guessing that th...

Re: D series SoC eeprom research
I see. Just came around a main taken from a 46D8000, the part number is the same BN41-01622C. do you think it would fit my 40d8000? does it matter if the display size differs? I assume the number of pixels are the same. Am I wrong?
