Re: Extended Service Menu after Enabling Hotel Mode
1. Wrong thread for your question ;) Why ?? on this thread everyone is discussing the different options that can be enabled when enabling the extended service menu (PVR, 3D support, channel guide, etc), I don't see how asking about changing the region code on the extended service menu here is wrong...

Re: Seting up a proxy for Internet@TV
Have you changed your info link country in sub option on your TV ? For D-series you can get a remote control called "rusamsung communicator" online that has more options than an normal remote. I don?t know if it?s works with C-series. I tried but after enabling the hotel mode and entering...

Re: Seting up a proxy for Internet@TV
I managed to make the tv use a proxy by configuring a proxy server (privoxy) on a local linux machine that connects to another one on the US, setting up transparent proxy with ip tables (to redirect all por 80 traffic to the proxy) and the configuring the tv to use that linux machine as his gateway....

Re: Extended Service Menu after Enabling Hotel Mode
Hi,
I'm following this same instructions to change my contry code, but after selecting the "Hotel Mode" option in the control menu I don't get any other menu, it just disappears and I can't do anything, I'm stuck at step 4. My tv is a UN40C6500 with firmware T-VALDTWC-1002.0

Re: Seting up a proxy for Internet@TV
I don't see how setting up a tunnel answers this, a SSH tunnel i just another mean like the proxy to bypass a restrictive network or a geolocation check like the OP says. What he is asking and I also wanna know is how to tell to the samsung tv how to use the HTTP proxy or SSH tunnel.

Re: Extension pack for UN40C6500
Hi !! I had forgotten about this and today I got some time to give it a try. I have successfully installed SamyGO extensions on a UN40C6500 with a T-VALDTWC-1002.0 firmware and got SSH root access using the " How to get root access on a C series TV " HOW-TO guide. If there's nothing more t...

Re: UN40C6300
Network File System, it's a mechanism to share files between UNIX computers, like Linux. With it you can share a directory on your PC with linux or Mac OSX and access it on your tv, after having applied one of the samygo techniques.flyballa wrote:what does NFS mean?

Re: Extension pack for UN40C6500
We need stripped hotel mode hack witch includes telnet only. in this case we get full compatibility with SamyGO all extensions. I informed Perforator about confising miscompatibility already. When you say "we", are you referring to "we" the owners of UN40C6500 models, or "w...

Re: Extension pack for UN40C6500
So no hints to get it running ? as I said, I know that if my tv isn't listed in the supported models doesn't mean that samygo won't work on it, but I need to know how to proceed, which extension pack to test, etc.
I'll promise I'll publish my results with this tv.
