Re: SMB/CIFS mount points and some more
Thanks for answering, I was under impression nobody cares for B series/users :) anymore. Good I was wrong. I can`t understand what is unclear to you, vendor?, product? serial? Not exactly: Serial : - is this a volume/device/wtf serial? Can it be random? What does it affect? Devpath : - ???? same Lun...

Re: SMB/CIFS mount points and some more
I understand that. But my model UE40B8000XW T-CHU7DEUC-3000.G was removed from that site before I could get anything. It was also mentioned here on forum. I'd really appreciate it if you could uploaded that package somewhere. Well, that's sad, because I wanted to continue where those people stopped....

Re: SMB/CIFS mount points and some more
haha, I almost died of laughter.
So you're telling me cifs.ko, dummy_hcd.ko, g_file_storage.ko are no different from their x86 source? Which version, then?
As a side note, Linus maintains linux core, not usermode software.
Care to answer my other questions?

SMB/CIFS mount points and some more
Injecting some more brainstorming... :) First of all, I tried mounting SMB shares according to wiki (which has at least one mistake in it!). Finally I get it to work, using local "red button switch 3000.G firmware" (I did not change it). I've added telnet and sharemounts to autostart scrip...

- link does not work 404
Got a few "Unexpected end of archive" errors, but after downloading 3rd time tey're gone.
Also, why do sizes of these differ SO much?

Re: [App] ForceFirmware Back (FFB)
Thanks! So, to make it clear:  every time flashing occurs, alternative firmware is deleted, current firmware is moved to alternative firmware place, and the new firmware becomes current? (always automatically, unrelated to fw versions?) So in my situation I can upload modified firmware and I'...

Re: [App] ForceFirmware Back (FFB)
I flashed older firmware to my TV using FFB, and now I've got NEW(restricted) fw as an alternative. Can I replace it too?

Re: Flashing new LED-TV UE40B8000XW
ok, I found out that I had to revert to 3000.G firmware (wiki probably needs some more organisation, sorry). I used FFB to flash it to TV (exactly as in the README). Now I have 3000 as current and 3002 as alternative firmware version. Can I flash 3000.G to alternative fw space too? (to make tv 100% ...

Flashing new LED-TV UE40B8000XW
Hi everyone! I really glad that such an awesome project exists! I bought a UE40B8000XW (fw ver. 3002) LED TV from SamyGo supported list because the first thing I want to do is install SamyGo :))) (for SMB support mostly) (NOTE: I'm not a very good linux/firmware specialist, so more dumb questions ar...
