Re: [App] Rooting E and F Bluray Players (no Cinavia ;))

I just got me a BD Burner, I haven't burnt anything yet, but I would like to have a nice backup of live concerts in Blu-Rays, with menu and all. :D Don't worry, you'll have menus on backups ;) (...and Cinavia  ) LOL :D But with this "rooting patch" the Cinavia on the backups woul...

And also, you know that audio via USB doesn't play with DTS-Master and Dolby TrueHD (lossless formats); that only works via Blu-Ray :)

Re: Remote Control Eats Battery in a Day (Home Theater)

Sadly I live in a crappy third world country where I don't have access to any of those awesome sites. 16 USD is really cheap but to get them here (shipping + customs + wishing doesn't get stolen) costs me something like 100 USD actually. I'm really lucky to have gotten one of these Home Theaters her...

Re: [App] Rooting E and F Bluray Players (no Cinavia ;))

By the way, do you know if these BD Player (the F series for example) play BMDV folders on BD-R with menus and everything? I mean, when you make a backup of a Bluray and play it back, would these Samsung devices play it fine (Java menus, PiP, etc.)? Maybe if rooted?

Thanks

Re: Remote Control Eats Battery in a Day (Home Theater)

If yours is the same item number, then it has NFC. It's even stated in the manual. The NFC thing should be used to pair up your smartphone to the Bluetooth of the device without manually having to do it. if you look on the back of the remote, then it'd have the NFC logo too. By the way, have you man...

Is there a way to disable updated in the Home Theater similar to the "OTN Support" (with service mode) on the TVs, or the only option to disable is the "Auto Update" on the regular user menu? Thanks Disabling "auto Update" from regular menu (both for TV and Bluray) dis...

Re: Remote Control Eats Battery in a Day (Home Theater)

Thanks for your quick reply LordByte! No, it's not the one with the touchpad. That's the one of my TV (UN55F8000) and, ironically, works great! :D The remote is the item code AH59-02538B. The only "geeky" thing that it has is NFC, but that should use battery at all until another device get...

Remote Control Eats Battery in a Day (Home Theater)

Hi there, I got me a new HT-F9730W and the remote control eats the batteries in just one day, while I haven't even touched it. The batteries are good and new, I've bought several alkalines, some good rechargeable too (Sony Cycle Energy) but no matter what, the remote ends up dead in a day / couple o...

Re: [App] Rooting E and F Bluray Players (no Cinavia ;))

Could you check my message above? Do you think this would work on a HT-F9730W that has firmware 1020? Thanks again Yeah from what I know it should work with your firmware :) Thanks sec; I'll donate and try it soon then. Is there a way to disable updated in the Home Theater similar to the "OTN ...

Re: Blocking Ads in Webbroser

But I don't have a server set up... that's what I was asking for some guides as how to set up an ad blocking DNS server.

Thanks for your responses
