[NoDRM] DRM will be...

No .ss files in TV recordings

Hi, some day ago (sunday) my UE40H6400 stopped recording to disk the ".ss" files. It normally records .srf, .cip, .mdb, .inf, but no ".ss" files. As a result, the tv itself says that the reccording is not viewable because is DRM protected. The tv is still rooted, and with samygo ...

Re: [!!!] Rooting H series

Rooting H Series confirmed on UE40H6400 (firmware T-MST14DEUC-2121.6).
As a note: the model was sold as "not PVR ready", but after changing it's code to H6500 via service menu (INFO+FACTORY menu) now I can record and with PVRDecoder use my recordings!

Re: [PC] SamyGO PVRDecoder for E/F/H series - Version 1.7.3.

Fair enough, - suppose I gotta talk to sectroyer about a hexdumping library :-) The Hexdumper in SamyGO seems to have problems ... Could you try port 23, just for the fun of it ? :-) Ok, I definitely feel stupid... PVRDecoder using port 23 works well, the file is recognized as encrypted and decoded...

Re: [PC] SamyGO PVRDecoder for E/F/H series - Version 1.7.3.

@texx, Couldent hurt .. more feedback is gold :-) Here is the problem: I opened the "netcat monitor" of PVRDecoder, and this is the point: (3123) ---> df | grep -E "dev.*sd" | awk '{print ""X""$1"",""$2"",""$3,"&qu...

Re: [PC] SamyGO PVRDecoder for E/F/H series - Version 1.7.3.

@texx, Couldent hurt .. more feedback is gold :-) I couldn't find how to remove the SamyGO app, so I only reinstalled it again, but no success - everytime he says that the file are not DRM protected (tried also with some other registered clip, even longer, just to be sure...) Can I look at some log...

Re: [PC] SamyGO PVRDecoder for E/F/H series - Version 1.7.3.

Maybe I should try uninstalling and reinstalling the SamyGO app? Can this have some influence? Everything else works ok... @texx, The funny thing is that *my* PVRDecoder DOES find that DRM is active, and then tries to load sectroyers TV-side decoder. But the decoder dosent like your files, so it goe...
