Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
@sectroyer: And this was on a T-MST10 E-Series? Perhaps you can tell how you did it.
@sectroyer: Do you record to a NAS over SMB or NFS? If so, how when not with the virtual usb?

Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
That are bad news. :? Anyway, here is the ouput from dmesg: root@tv:/mnt # insmod /mnt/lib/modules/g_file_storage.ko file=/dtv/nfs/pvrimage,/dtv/vusb root@tv:/mnt # dmesg | grep g_file_storage g_file_storage gadget: File-backed Storage Gadget, version: 20 November 2008 g_file_storage gadget: Number...

Re: [App] Recording Title Patch D/E/F/H
This is the content of my RecTitle.log. ES6300 T-MST10PDEUC. A few things failed. And I am not sure, what this patch does. I thought it renames f.i. "20150203154055.srf" to "20150203_Gorilla.srf" or something like that. [RecTitle] SamyGO D/E/F/H libRecTitle v0.7.8 - (c) sectroyer...

timeshift on nfs share lite
Short script for Recording to NFS Share without the use of dummy_hcd.ko and g_file_storage.ko: mkdir -p /dtv/usb/sdw1 insmod $MOD_DIR/kernel/net/sunrpc/sunrpc.ko insmod $MOD_DIR/kernel/fs/lockd/lockd.ko insmod $MOD_DIR/kernel/fs/nfs/nfs.ko $SYSROOT/bin/busybox mount -o "rw,soft, nolock" &qu...

Re: netio and g_files_storage.ko for ES 6300
After doing the script "02_03_crypto_load.init" (I got it from zoelchat) manually #!/mnt/bin/busybox sh # # ? Copyright 1996-2013, SamyGO # # . /dtv/SGO.env #crypto stuff, required for cifs (and other stuff?). Maybe we should looad it from rc.sysinit? case $1 in start) insmod $MOD_DIR/kern...

Re: netio and g_files_storage.ko for ES 6300
Figured crypto out and built it for ES 6300.
I think too that the "hub 4-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1" can be the problem.
Perhaps someone can send a dmesg | tail after a block device was created (non MSTAR) to see the difference

Re: netio and g_files_storage.ko for ES 6300
@juuso: Thank you, now I am able to build the modules stuff. I can confirm the results of zoelechat. With high probability it is the MSTAR Problem of not creating a block device. I ask myself, If there is a MStAR TV outside who is creating a block device with g_file_storage.ko. In this thread http:/...

Re: netio and g_files_storage.ko for ES 6300
No, you misunderstood. g_file_storage is not working on my es6300. I haven't compiled f_mass_storage right now. I want to to it and therefore I asked, if it worth to do it. do you know the make command for building that module? I can type "make SUBDIRS=fs/rfs modules" and the rfs module is...
