Re: *** Requests for apps/patches H series ***
What I'd like to see: The possibility of adding more than 10 minutes automatically to a scheduled recording at the end -- 10 minutes is is the maximum that can be configured to be added automatically when programming something from the EPG. Yes, I know I can change the end time afterwards once the ...

Re: *** Requests for apps/patches H series ***
Is it possible to fix character encoding of satellite EPG?
My TV is set to Hungarian, but some transponders on Thor (0.8W) use different encoding, so the Hungarian special characters like ??????.. are not displayed correctly.
On Enigma2 boxes there is an encoding.conf file to solve this problem.

Re: I think my TV is broken
Looks like I was lucky. I downgraded from 2740 to 2130 on my 55H7000. I did the factory reset from the service menu because it was very laggy. I didn't remove the root usb, though. Only after reset to skype-root it again.

Re: [!!!] Rooting LATEST H firmware
That would be great, thanks.
BTW Is it possible to decrypt the recordings, using this? I mean we can download everything from the TV. I'm not sure how are the files encrypted, but the key is probably in the TV somewhere and we can access it, right?

Re: [!!!] Rooting LATEST H firmware
As it's written in the study it's basically this:
You need a mouse to navigate the directories.
I attached a simple app.
Code: Select all
<object width="1920" height="1060" data="file:///">
</object>
I attached a simple app.

Re: file system dump
It was mine, and it's here: http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=9298&start=120#p77644 But first someone needs to create an app to be able to upload the files from the tv. You can display the contents of the files on the TV, but it's not so convenient, maybe for smaller text/configurt...

Hello, everyone! I'm kind of new here, but found something interesting. I'm not sure if it's new information for the advanced members here but check out this document here about the security of the Smart TV Apps: https://www.ei.rub.de/forschung/veroeffentlichungen/smart-tv/ The interesting thing is ...

Re: [!!!] Rooting LATEST H firmware
I experienced similar results on my 55H7000 with the latest firmware 2750.3 (OTN now disabled). I logged the DNS queries in OpenWrt and those 4 original addresses msecnd.net,samsungotn.net,www.samsungotn.net,test.samsungotn.net were never queried, but just to mention a few: cdn.samsungcloudsolution....
