Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
Hello, Maybe a little off topic If I make any changes in the service menu will it ruin my calibrations, recordings, smarthub, etc? It could even ruin your TV if you're not aware of what you're changing :) Also know that only accessing service menu resets picture settings to default. That is the rea...

F-Series Service Menu details/settings
Hello everyone,
I would like to ask you if anyone has a description about the F-Series' Service Menu, what is what, in the Advanced section too.
It is possible that nobody know all, but we can summarize it.
Thanks

Re: [APP] Samy PVR Manager
Hi all, I trying to use the PVR manager but maybe I skip a step somewhere. I rooted my F6670 with Get ROOT access on F-series without develop account. Re: Get ROOT access on F-series without develop account
Yeah, 1Gb is enough but it's strongly advised not to use "an old crappy slow one" (very common amongst 1Gb ones ;) ) You can also do a small partition on any permanently plugged device. So you saying that if I create a second Fat32 partition at the end of the HDD I use for PVR, that is al...

Re: Get ROOT access on F-series without develop account
Ok so I will definitely need a dedicated USB drive for SamyGo, better not to use my 32GB stick for that, a 1 GB is enough (for PVR I have a HDD)

Re: Get ROOT access on F-series without develop account
After using SamyGO_usb.zip
In both widget screens all items were green OK
Is those means that I was able to root my TV?
How can I check that I have root access?
FYI after restart TV I have tried to use PVR manager (Win version) via Wifi, but it was not able to connect to the IP of the TV

Hi all,
I just got a used UE46F6670 with latest firmware 2111.
Previous owner was keen on updates.
Is it possible to root it somehow?
