Check what is your TYPE if is correct one.

Mess up in service menu, need ADC/WB settings for a Q65Q85 samsung 4k tv, managed the re-calibrate it but the red just doesnt seem right, If someone could provide the ADC / WB results it would help alot. You have latest firmware.
1st you need to block firmware updates on your TV and wait for the root to be released.
It can take about 2 or 3 years or less, it depends from @sectroyer.
Take a sit and wait.

Use hdmi-cec if your home theater support it's. I control my onkyo tx-nr636 and nvidia shield with tv remote.

Only a few buttons work with IR, the rest of them needs the remote to be paired with tv.

You can pair remote with another tv and then use it whith your TV only in IR mode.

It's smart monitor. Can you tune channels on that thing. Because with this app you need to be on source TV watching some channel.
