Re: cant block updates on router level
[...] list if any URL is problematic or missing. [...] Yeah thanks very much, I've added them to my blocking. After my (unwanted :( ) update I found a new ip-adress being blocked: 62.157.140.133 Don't have any clue yet, if it might be harmful or if it's something app-related... Edit: It seems to be...

Re: cant block updates on router level
You know what you have to do to block updates :) Well I've screwed it up too  Blocked the four domains on my Avm-Fritz router before first powering on the tv (tested with browser - no access) and stayed on 1412 almost one year. Don't know if recently updated user manual triggered it or somethi...

Re: Call for testers.
For blocking Samsung I've added: msecnd.net samsungotn.net http://www.samsungotn.net test.samsungotn.net My router prevents direct access for 'hardcoded' ip-adressess without using dns, there were two adresses also blocked: 104.25.80.14 and 104.25.81.14 To minimize tracking I've also blocked: google...

Re: Call for testers.
I've blocked the Samsung hosts before first powering on and I'm on the firmwareversion that's delivered - thanks to this forum! My concerns are about Samsung finding a way to prevent root once it's made public via the smart-hub functionality. They've uninstalled skype-app although the Samsung host's...

You need to activate smart control support in service menu and pair the smart remote afterwards.

Re: UA55J6200 And smart remote
I don't know if there's a compatibility difference between the old "BN59-01181B" and the new j-series "BN59-01220D".
Have you tried pairing it with "Return" & "Guide" or left and right keys of the pause button?
