Just to be clear. Does root work on FW 1488? My home router broke two weeks ago and I had to use my ISP one. It seems that my 40JU7000 updated then And by reading I sometimes find that rooting works on FW < 1490 and others that the last supported FW is 1480. Mine is 1488...

I'll try Kodi, but it's a pity not being able to use the integrated Plex app. It works fine when not 4K. Anyway, I'm going to try using a switch instead of my router to connect the server to the TV. I hope it helps.

UE40JU7000. I'm trying to stream 4K movies to my TV, but with Plex buffering happens all the time. I'm using Plex on a FreeNas HP Microserver, with a 4 core Xeon E3-1220 and 12 GB, that I think it should be enough.

Anybody is streaming like this? Any other way of doing it right?
