Re: Media Player - Background

Nope. There is an energy saver app (from SamyGo) that you can install and then load from the game menu before you start the media player that allows you to turn off the LED screen completely though.

Re: multilangual subtitles respectively more than one srt-file!?

Normally you would have to rename the Srt file that you want to use to have the same filename as the movie file (but with extension .srt) Otherwise how would the Tv know which SRT file belongs to which movie, e.g. consider the following files in the same directory: rambo.avi rambo.srt inception.avi ...

Agree that this is a problem.
Not everyone will be able to use DTS-passthrough so this should - if possible- be fixed.

Re: B Series DTS bugs & support

Just a quick note for both the DTS decoding module and any upcoming DTS passthrough module : please include support to mute the digital-output sound from the remote control if possible. Actually you may mute any non-DTS sound sent through the digital-output aswell when you press the mute button. Tha...

mute digital out

Suggest to make the mute button on the remote actually mute the digital output signal (now it only mutes built-in speakers) Would be extremely useful for anyone who connected their surround amplifier to the tv, especially if the amplifier does not support anynet+ (hdmi-cec) Everybody who is using di...

Re: Beep, any idea? :)

Not exactly beeping -- but maybe you could use the messagebox service to show some kind of message? Search the forums for messagebox service. On my system mounting is not an issue that causes errors (mounting my QNap NAS over NFS) it "always" works - i trimmed down the sleeps in the mounts...

Re: HDMI EDID hack to allow 5.1 passthrough

I think the real EDID info is in the SIL chip, since even when TV is powered off (standby), it can receive the HDMI-CEC info from my Samsung BD player when I turn that on, and then the TV starts. This indicates that the HDMI handshake is done while TV was in standby. So what happens if you power of...

Re: Backlight option in Media player

I wanted an extremely dark picture for my mediaplayer (used for music) so i defined one of the picture settings - I changed "Standard" (from the ones named Natural, Movie, Dynamic, Standard) as very dark and I only ever use this setting when I am using the TV as a music player. Since there...

Re: Which mice and keyboards (or mouse-keyboard-combos) work?

So before I go out and buy a RF keyboard/trackball I'd like to find out what I would be able to use it for. I already understand that I will not be able to use it for the built-in YouTube-widget but what could it in fact be used for?
