Is it possible to activate this series to record onto a USB/External Drive?

Is there any way that these sets can be set up without using a set internet connection (IP Address) ? When you start through the set up procedures you are taken to 'Terms & Policy Setup' This then connects to the Samsung Server. Once this is done the Apps are then available. Can this be done avo...
