Re: Streaming TV -> PC
I get .srf files, and VLC player acts as if it were playing them, it even lists some information under Media Information. But, there is no audio or video, like the file was corrupted. Same was for me: srf files from samsung C-series are protected by DRM ... I suppose, it will be only matter of time...

Re: Streaming TV -> PC
In fact, I got this idea yesterday when driving car. It should be definitely possible to enable streaming TS content to the connected network client instead of PVR file. Also this could be also another way how to record channels - not from TV, but from PC. Anyway this would work only for DVB, not fo...

Re: Hacking BD-C5500/XAA (serial console, firmware dump, etc...)
The keys for decrypting the ruf-files must be in the firmware, maybe in that appplayer-app, which controls all of the functions. The appplayer is executed in a normal boot, you can find it in the extracted rootfs in /usr/local/bin. Thanks for those dumps. From the first look, RUF file is digitally ...

Re: DTS Support, Audio track selection, USB full screen mode
Yeah, you are probably right. Anyway, i think i tried to patch getting the first audio stream id to getting requested audio stream id (changing argument to the GetAudioInfo) and it didn't work - SetStreamID changed the stream id after that to constant. It is possible, that this can be cause of muted...

Re: DTS Support, Audio track selection, USB full screen mode
In fact, I think, SetStreamId function is a little bit strange. First of all, it switch-jumps according to the number of tracks and only in _some_special_cases_, it sets 0xDB0 to constant (various private stream ids - 0xA0, 0xBD, 0xC0), although in previous function (Multimedia::MediaPlayer::Movie::...

Re: UExxC6500 series - research
I suppose, CMK files will be AES crypted (maybe in similar way as SMKs from the Widget SDK..). RSA signature will be used only for verification. So even if you'd be able to decrypt the CMK file, probably you won't be able to create valid signature. Anyway, could you provide sample ZIP files with com...

Re: DTS Support, Audio track selection, USB full screen mode
Right now I'm limited with time. I'll try to make more compatible version of AudioSwitch (some searching procedure to find proper addresses to patch) and then I'll return to the subject. I think there are two possibilities - further analysis of possible DTS pass-through (there's at least one more fu...
