SamygoPVR - Record TV over USB or network location.

Hello! I've done refactoring of the geoPVR v0.6 code. Changes are: - rename geopvr.ini to pvr.ini, geopvr.so to pvr.so - fix transcoding russian letters to ASCII - add debug logging (see pvr.log, and LOG=1 pvr.ini option) - rewrite configuration reading system - rename EPG_TRANSCODE option to UNICOD...

Re: EXT3 partitions support

1. convert HDD to EXT3 and manually modify /dtv/usb/log, editing the entry already created by the TV when I inserted the HDD, replacing ext3 to vfat; will this modification be permanent? You should modify this any time you insert or remove any storage device. 2. convert the HDD to EXT3 and use the ...

arris69 wrote:ext3 will be mounted also automatic by tv.
you just need to write to /dtv/usb/log that the partition is mounted as vfat
TV (usb_mount utility) already write to this file for ext3 devices, with "ext3" fs type.

Re: EXT3 partitions support

Did I understand correctly that ext3 is mounted but cannot be used for playing media files and ext2 is not supported at all by original firmware? Yes, that is true. I'm very interested to make it possible to use ext2 or ext3 formated USB hard drive with my LE37B653T5P. Where can I find the ext2 mod...

Re: Record TV over USB

Hello!I've done some changes on PVRv011.zip:

- don't translate unicode to ASCII. Instead, translate it to UTF-8. I think you now can save your programs with their native names
- select pvr.log path correctly (use strrchr() instead of strchr())
- improve logging system
- code cleanup
- add Makefile

Re: Record TV over USB

Please help me how to compile loader.c? I compile pvr.c successfully, but for loader.c I get error:

# cc -Wall -c -o loader.o loader.c
/tmp/ccLYFLhR.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/ccLYFLhR.s:30: Error: immediate expression requires a # prefix -- `mov r0,[fp,#-24]'

UPD: With -O2 its ok! Thanks!

Re: elfpatcher - GNU way to develop binary code patches

tom_van, its a bit more complex without symbols. :) But try to compile some library with -shared -Wl,-init,initfunc. If you create initfunc(), then it will be called at startup. Just LD_PRELOAD the library. I tried it with arm exeDSP and it works ok: I can access to the exeDSP code.

Re: elfpatcher - GNU way to develop binary code patches

Thank you for elfpatcher code! But I think better and simpler exeDSP patching solution will be not to use binary patches but installing our own hooks at runtime as arvfix2 does. To apply patches automatically we just need to create a simple library linked with exeDSP with LD_PRELOAD (and compiled wi...
