Re: Streaming HDTV from DVB-S2 USB tuner?

Just a quick update again. It's been quite busy in the last quarter of the academic year, that's the main reason why you haven't heard from me for quite a spell. Won't bother you with that, now it's time to get back on track. The main change since last time is the DVB-S2 hardware. While the guys fro...

Re: "Permission denied" when trying to mount NFS (on NSLU2)

Looks like you are trying to mount on /dtv/usb/sda4 while in the virtual drive you have /dtv/usb/sda1 ...
And if that's just a typo, try and check your exports file, some NFS servers can be very picky ...

Re: camd suport cccam gbox or mgcamd

.. and that's not that hard to do. Getting the DVB-API going is fairly straightforward, probably depending on the type of service you need. The good thing is that it can be built completely as a set of kernel modules. See this thread: http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1455. The hard bit is ...

Re: BD - C6900 Firmware Decrypt

Yes I know, got it the minute it was published. Contains no hints towards rooting, though, at least I haven't found any.

Re: BD - C6900 Firmware Decrypt

Don't know, possibly B. The type is just like I already said: HT-BD8200, no C or D attached. Haven't rooted it yet, so app_player is not there yet. Need to find the serial access port, possibly inside, certainly not sticking out like in my tv. Finding the keys is probably the least problem for now ....

Re: BD - C6900 Firmware Decrypt

Hi card2000,

Good job!

I just tried to compile your code on fedora 14, x86_64, but I can't seem to find the routine aes_decrypt_128.
Just a quick question: which library/header supplies this routine. Can't find it on a Fedora repo, and google isn't very helpful either.

Re: Some help to compile kernel module

Hi menos16, I had a quick glance at the code for your device; apparently it may be compiled in 2 different ways, so as to enable different features of the device. (with or without PHY, not sure what it is). Maybe you can play around with that. I'll be happy to build both versions of the module for y...

Re: TV=Network HUB for WIRELESS-ETH0?

To get back to the initial question: Isn't it just enough to compile a dhcp server for ARM, configure it, and get the job done? The tv is then working as a local router, with some other machine connected to the outside world? I have used this method for years (with a diskless 486 and a 56k6 serial m...
