Re: How to enable PVR for D-Series?

As far as I know, the PVR functionality is omly available on European models. I think this was some form of compensation for us Europeans having to pay way more for getting less (only 1 pair of glasses and lame remote).

Re: First D-series updates

I have a UE46D7000 connected to my home wireless network and am willing to test anything that would be useful (unless there's a high risk of bricking!). I can connect it via ethernet if that is a requirement.

Re: First D-series updates

Thanks for checking gooseye. I've installed 1008 on my 46D7000, is there anything I can do to help with any kind of initial discovery or are we boned until the new key is found?

Re: First D-series updates

Are you sure the only difference isn't the filename? I haven't checked myself but someone at AVForums said a binary comparison showed them to be identical.

Re: SamyGo Firmware Patcher Script

OK, I may try it tonight then. Can you confirm there are a decent number of sanity checks performed by the script before writing the final img? Have you heard of anyone at all bricking their TV when using a firmware created by this script?

Re: SamyGo Firmware Patcher Script

Hi, I've successfully patched my UE407000 firmware (T-CHU7DEUC) using this script but haven't dared to actually flash it yet. Is there any way to verify that my new exe.img.enc is valid? Like a CRC/MD5 comparison with a verified working version?
