Re: B Series DTS bugs & support
I noticed a couple of people mentioned it and it seems to have been missed, but is there any possibility of a hack to enable DTS passthrough via optical output? My receiver supports DTS and so it would save on CPU usage etc Yes I was hoping the project was already going in this direction and that i...

Re: tv as music player
The Samsung player might not support playlists, but there are others that do. Windows Media Player 11 works with playlists. TVersity does, too. It also does Internet Radio. Well I don't know how you mean I should use Windows Media player 11 on my Samsung TV. For one thing, my PC workstation would h...

Re: audio playback visualization or black-blank
Yes in lack of visualizations it would be nice to have the screensaver kick in more or less immediately, like after 4 minutes or so. Shouldn't be too hard to hack? Optionally it would be extremely nice to be able to change the samsung logo in the screensaver to something else (or to a totally black ...

Re: TV as display board
Hi, I want to use TV as display board. I mean, I want to show some information via web browser on tv or run some video. Yes, other formats to support could be MS Powerpoint and Flash (there is a flash player in the tv already i think) but i think there is some problem with accessing the full resolu...

Re: DVD-player software
TV doesn't support menus. But can play plain VOB files (those not encrypted) If you rip your DVD's to NAS, TV could play them (without menu)... Yes, it would be very nice to be able to play decrypted DVD structures (VIDEO_TS in a directory on the NAS) and to have it as a minimum play the chapters/p...

Re: Modify mediaplayer directory structure
Now my little question, is there a way to modify the meddiaplayer directory structure? I would like to have a new directory structure: When I select music, photo or video, then the mediaplayer goes ever to /sta/usb/sda4 and this is mounted on my server with three directorys (music/photo/video). I m...

Re: tv as music player
I am amazed that i have had no replies to this - i thought surely someone somewhere was trying to play music on the tv through any other means than the provided media player which seems to have no support for ordered play / random play / playlists.

tv as music player
Has anybody succeeded in streaming music seamlessly to the tv from some variant source like internet radio or a continously updated playlist in some player program? Has anybody succeeded in having the tv media player play songs from a fixed playlist like a m3u specifying songs in different directori...

Delete movie file
I'd like the option to be able to delete my movie file after watching it, when it is on the usb stick/drive or on a mounted disk with sufficient rights availiable to do so. A confirmation dialog would be nice but i realize it would require a more advanced modification. It would even be nice to be ab...

Re: usb bluetooth keyboard
Bluetooth has been discussed elsewhere and was considered impractical, but you can certainly use a wireless (2.4GHz) keyboard/mouse. I believe there was some trouble with supporting bluetooth keyboards and mice ( possibly having something to do with having to load the non-existant bluetooth-stack t...
