Re: Subtitles over SamyGO Virt. USB (SAMBA)

My idea was wrong, it was just an idea :) Funny, what I finally notice is that when I read a couple avi/srt shared from drive plugged to my router (Linux/NAS-like), it has subtitles displayed... If I read the exact same couple of files, but shared by Windows, no subtitles are detected/displayed! May...

Re: Subtitles over SamyGO Virt. USB (SAMBA)

They works for me. All movies I watch are over samba. Separate subtitles? (associated .srt file) I just tried it also doesn't work there. Of course subtitles included in mkv are working... My idea is that probably TV needs to write something in root of device/hidden files (.cm0012/.cmdb) for subtit...

Re: [App] Subtitle Font Size and Color Patch

Do you also have popup with any other physical usb device?
I suspect that a 2GB USB key can be old enough to be slower than TV to startup, so that TV sometimes thinks it wasn't plugged on boot.
I'm not sure it's related to SamyGO, did you try before installing it?

Re: [App] Subtitle Font Size and Color Patch

The device is a 2GB usb flash and don't require extra power, the popup doesn't show often only sometimes when I power on tv, if I reboot won't show again for 10-15 reboots. Is it physical or virtual that shows popup? If virtual it's known behavior, and in both cases you can still launch libSTFU scr...

Re: [App] Subtitle Font Size and Color Patch

I believe you as usual, but I also believe that the man complaining about random USB popups doesn't use any of these scripts/daemons, and that's why I proposed something else :)

Re: [App] Subtitle Font Size and Color Patch

Sometimes when I have another usb device plugged, an annoying popup will show every 10 minutes, how to disable it? I read somewhere in this forum the sollution but I can't it find anymore. AFAIK there's currently no way to disable USB popup, you can only patch its duration using libSTFU . You'd bet...

Re: [App] Subtitle Font Size and Color Patch

Startup is probably slowed down by unused scripts, or by a large amount of files on nfs share... You may disable every scripts (add .dis at the end) you don't use: Keep only these ones: -catch_crap -vusb -apache -nfsmount -FontSizePatch If it's still slow you can try to move nfsmount script to the e...
