I think it must just be a mistake that the switcher isn't in the latest zip file on the first page. I installed it on my TV a while ago so I've copied it back from the TV and uploaded it for you:

Re: Recording on to a NFS share
edit: Got it working by updating SamyGo's game.so to the 21/12 version. I changed this line in the recordtonetworkshare.init: if [ -e "$MPOINT/.PlaceHolderDO-NOT-REMOVE" ] && [ $FOUND = false ]; then to this: if [ -e "$MPOINT/nfs/192.168.0.2/_f_SamyGOTV" ] && [ $F...

Re: Recording on to a NFS share
I've been having another go at this because some useful tips have come up which I hadn't seen when I first tried. I'm now getting to exactly the same point as phk. There are 2 remi scripts that I can see - nfsmount and record_to_nwshare. remi's nfsmount script spits out the following: + /bin/busybox...

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final
Thanks gooseye, got it working now! I was thrown by the blank command prompt thinking I was waiting for something but when I entered some commands, it was in fact working fine.

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final
I've just got round to trying this however I've fallen at the first hurdle. I've got a Win32 version of netcat which someone on the forum linked to but I can't get it to connect to the TV. I run nc 192.168.0.100 1023 but nothing happens, not even an error message. I plan to use the Win32 DRMDecrypt ...

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final
Haven't tried this yet as I will need to set up a Linux VM but does the DRM key change for every recording?

Re: 3d(sbs) to 2d
That's normal if you switch from 3D back to 2D. There's a specific option while in 3D mode to do a 3D->2D conversion, I'm not at home at the moment but I think it's in the 3D section of the menu options.

Re: D series rooting (arm cpu architecture only) UPDATE!
Hi, I gave up again on this so disabled all the .init scripts and rebooted the TV but I've found using this new updated version of SamyGO, I can't record anything even onto proper USB hard disks. I get "Preparing to record Live TV" which stays on screen for a few seconds before disappearin...

Re: D series rooting (arm cpu architecture only) UPDATE!
Thanks for the tips Denny, I've had been trying to get this working by editing nfsmount.init but I don't understand the code well enough. If I just place my own .init file with just one line to do the mount, should this work: /bin/busybox mount -t nfs -o rsize=8192,wsize=8192,rw,soft,udp,nolock 192....

Re: D series rooting (arm cpu architecture only) UPDATE!
Hi Denny, thanks for the update. I've been trying to get recording over my network working since the root was initially released but gave up after days of trying and no success. It sounds like it should be a little easier with this update but I'm still having problems. I've got an NFS share set up o...
