Hi juuso,

I know it is my first post, but I do not know were to ask for help.
I have an UE40c6000RW.

I had the T-VAL6DEUC-1014.0 firmware. Don't know why everytime I tried to update to T-VAL6DEUC-1016.0 (either from USB, samsungotn or samygo) I had an "Download error code:0" at 90% downloading.

I did not know what to do, so I deseperately Went into service mode/advanced menu and I changed OTN Service type from Operating to Development. When I upgraded online, I successfully upgraded to T-VAL6DEUC-1000.2 (2010/02/22_100022). The TV works fine.
But now I cannot upgrade to T-VAL6DEUC-1016.0, neither with the official samsungotn, or with the dns hack.
I always get the message: "No software to upgrade currently"
How can I upgrade to 2011/09/10_001116? I really need the samba shares.
Do you think that 2010/02/22_100022 > 2011/09/10_001116 so the TV does not allow me to downgrade?

Thanks in advance and
Best Regards

Sorry for late response, you should try with new DNS. If problem persists, send me PM your IP.

I have a UE46C6000 with the T-VAL6DEUC firmware. I'm interested in a way to use Samsung Remote App for Android with my TV. This TV shipped without Wi-Fi, but I connected my TV to Wi-Fi router via Ethernet. I can't find "Remote Control" option in system settings. Can this patched firmware help me to add this feature for my TV?

If you able to make patches, then you can do this for you. But this is not on patched firmware.

Damn, i was away for to long to see what ive missed...

Now my UE40C600 with T-VAL6DEUC is rooted allready.

Congrats to the SamyGo team !

Now that it is possible, i followed the steps on the first page.
Changed DNS, run update, found new FW, update, success !, change back DNS
Download all 3 files:
1. SamyGO-All-Extensions-v0.03.6-r12-for-T-VALDEUC-20110103184650
2. SamyGO-All-Extensions-Bugfix-v0.03.6-r15-for-valencia-20111001120232
3. SamyGO-libs-T-VALDEUC-20110123101934
Extracted them onto a black formatted FAT32 16GB usb pen drive.
Overwrite the files after extracting to the given order.

insertin the tv, power down, power up.

Now waiting for the magic.... but nothing happens...
Is is because i was drinking yesterday, did i do something wrong or did i miss something.

Probably what most people are looking for now, is what can we do with the new rooted tv.
run apps, network remote control, mount smb/cifs shares, internet@tv, pvr, etc.

But, i still want to congratulate you with this success, i believe it was one of the hardest FW's Samsung has brought out, and you guy's did it !

What are you looking for? All what you can do - enable/disable SamyGO scripts. Read more on wiki, or search on forum. No PVR, no Browser or Internet@TV. Just only if you can patch firmware you can check it from now.

to be honest,
the little cool things,
like the remote controll ap for android,
or a facebook app,
some sort of pause function witch writes the data to a usb stick and then in the commercial brake you can fast forward.
or or or,
anyhow something more graphical then some console stuff.

i am also wondering how we can setup a new extension witch boots with the boot of the tv.

dont get me wrong, i still thing you did a real great job, but for me the wiki is a bit more for the "real" tv's witch can run apps from the game folder. And i dont have that...

(maybe, i am just jealous)

Hi juuso,

I would like to hack my Samsung LED TV UE32C6000 (T-VAL6DEUC-1017.0) because I need to stream videos from Twonky Media server (7.1.1) from my MyBookLive. Default DLNA media player is not very usable but if I able to mount NFS from NAS it will be much better. Unfortunately I update my TV firmware to version 1017 before I discover that some hack for this TV exists. I don?t know if your method is suitable to try on 1017 firmware. I have not tried it so far, because I afraid it could brick my TV. What do you think? Can I try it or it is potentially dangerous? And actual DNS IP is still 149.154.159.134 ? Thank You.
