Re: New C series plays video at correct aspect ratio
It's 3,5 mm Stereo phone jack at back of the TV with "SERVICE PORT" label.
You can connect to TV within this port via using serial RS232 connection.
Here is the wiki page for creating a connection.

Re: New C series plays video at correct aspect ratio
But you are just deny the title of this thread now! So it isn't capable to play for example 4:3 content with correct 4:3 aspect ratio, isn't it? In that case it is a big shame for Samsung.ganumor wrote:I think "mode 2" just stretches all video files to full width/height of screen rather than playing at the correct aspect ratio of the file, but this is ok for me.
SAMSUNG LE40B750U1WXXH SQ01 T-CHL7DEUC-2004.1 (Telnet, StartUp Script, VideoAR Fix 2, Big Yellow Subtitles, CIFS Mount on Virtual USB); Onkyo HTX-22HD + SKS-11, WDTVL, Maximum T-1300, Optex 8891-HD, DVD-1080P9, Synology USB Station 2 + 2x Samsung S1 Mini 200GB EXT4 (3.8W+0.6W+0.6W=5W idle consumption)
Re: New C series plays video at correct aspect ratio
Thank you for additional info, but it mean, that choosing correct aspect ratio in Media Player is still not automatic as it is in TV itself for broadcasted TV signal. Samsung still ignore AR info in stream.
