This is my first post here.
I need to replace main board due to corrosion from spilled water. I have purchased main board- PCB No BN41-01536A but for LE40C550. The boards are exactly the same apart from the LVDS connector position and pin count as shown below.
So my question here is, if I take the connector from the original pcb and solder in the purchased one and replace the eeprom, should this work?
A schematic of the board would be greatly appreciated.
Btw, i can`t see what is difference, are you sure your original LVDS cable wont be ok for this connector without any modifications? Maybe just only external view of socket differs?
For everybody's info I tried as suggested in first post.
I have first checked connector voltages on both boards and found them the same- So this gave me courage to try
Ultimately the set worked but the picture was not good Showed multiple images and lines on screen.
I have swapped again eeproms but the same.
And for juuso member, the connector pinout pitch is different.
So my conclusion is that although supply pins coincide the data to T-Con is somehow different.
Now I am looking for another replacement PCB. Mine has BN94-03982A. Found BN94-03982B for similar model LE32C450E1W, so I assume this should work. However I would like some feedback before purchasing again.
