hmm I don't know how to test it... but I am afraid to do some more tests without bootloader access... the risk to brick it is increasing..

no risk no fun

maybe not all partition images needs to be crypted and signed in a firmware update package.
btw. first we need

• fwn.bin
• uboot
• uboot_env
• a way to restore this partitions if something goes wrong

maybe onboot has some flash procedure included (and usb support)?
