FTP working OK here - just playing with config before I test the PVR. Thank you so much for what must have been some hard work to get this release made.

Hmm, I'm struggling with the PVR. I've disabled the encryption OK but I'm trying to get a samba share mounted as a fake USB device. The number of samba related .init files is confusing me and I'm not sure what format it wants the username and server ("servername\username"? Just "username"? I've tried both but I don't see any virtual USB devices anywhere, should this work on the D7000?

Hi,

I've followed the procedure in wiki and now I have a SamyGO widget on SmartHUB of my D series TV.
When I run it, it installs something then stops.

Now I have access to ftp on port 21 and telnet responds on port 1023
However, the web GUI does not show up.
Also on telnet port 1023 , I get ":/bin/sh: not found" each time I hit "enter"

is there something missing in my configuration ?

my TV is UE55D7000.

How can I configure services of SamyGO ? (from which interface ?)

for example, I want to enable a network share mount on the TV but I don't know how to configure that ?

ps or some other command wuld be giving more info,

web server is started after nfs and co finish scan your network... so, you may after success install and manage mounts manualy , i do this way laso coz i dont like loong wait time for such issues.

so, try after 3-4 min with web access to tv.

ir just type ps in console, when u see httpd started , check http access

Code: Select all

insmod /mtd_down/widgets/user/SamyGO/.....
sems some module not correct loaded or is wrong ...

try to find out whitch one... then disable it.

if all fail, dowload T-GAS*** SamyGO extensions from svn , extract to usb and reboot TV , before disable all no need modules , app will first search SamyGO ext on USB , if fail it loads SamyGO whitch you downloaded 1st time from 44.....

check in

/mtd_down/widgets/user/SamyGO/SamyGO/etc/init.d .... .yyyyyyyy.init.dis are disabled scripts and enabled are without .dis ... all same like on other models(A, B , C serie).
but i wuld first try to find out whitch module is it exact...

A nice side effect of the hack is serial console is now fully working.

I see that SamyGO app is marked Y for ticker but how to get it to autostart?

edit: nevermind, found ticker autorun menu :)
