D Series Alternative WiFi Dongle HW

he tv not recognize the dongle itself.. ue37 D5720, mstar , hacked from wiki .. i have ftp..

but not telnet in the tv ? is normal ?

can somebody help me with remote assistance? teamviwer for example..

So the second I read the wiki samyo (http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Using_ ... es_with_TV) and were (http://www.wikidevi.com/wiki/D-Link_DWA-140_rev_B1) not have to change anything. In principle, the TV will automatically recognize, confirm?

Hello i have chnged PID and VID on Edimax EW-7711uan, TV UE32D5500 recognize wifi dongle as Samsung dongle, but TV does not find any network, so I can not connect to. is here any solution? Very thanks

Hama 00062740 works out of the box. pid / vid 148f:2870.

TV recognize the wifi adaptor, but no router found on searching.
Sure the is singnal in the room, my diablo wifi work on the same tv..
i worked with RT5370 driver, but the ubuntu recognize adapter after complie like rt2870, maybe it's the problem?

if i do "rmmod rt2870usb.ko and all rt..", ubutu still recognize the adatper and put it again 2870..

Followed instructions on Wiki, finally got Linksys WUSB600N working (using hardware method instructions and Lubuntu VM). Below photos of the dongle:




P.S. when loading compiled kernel module use 2870sta.ko. Dongle works perfectly in 2.4 or 5 GHz mode.

D series require dongles based on rt3572 chip. You can try to change values to 148f:3572 . If no help, then you need driver for your tv, rt5370 and set back default values of your dongles vid/pid. Use rt5370sta driver on ubuntu, it supports chipset 2870.
