Ok after searching I found the dlink dwa 140 rev b2 uses the rt3070 chip, the b1 uses the rt2870 chip

checking this site it looks like all mentioned woring sticks are : you guess right rt2870
http://www.wikidevi.com/w/index.php?tit ... ch=+RT2870+

my guess is that samsung stripped the driver and made it only compliant to the rt2870 / rt 2850 chip

I`ve looked up a couple of the sticks and most of them are out of stock, my guess here is that the 2870 chip is out of production (hopefully) and with a bit of luck samsung must revert his drivers to be compatible with the newer version 3070

but a lot of guesses here, maybe someone can confirm

Should be possible, however you need shell access to upload.
I only have a bd-c5500 and no shell yet
When i have time i look into creating a custom firmware, if possible, or opem the damn thing and connect serial

Hi,
this weekend I tried to put my bluray player in developer mode and created a develop account, but no options to enter servers A`m I missing something or did samsung stripped out the development mode ?

maybe we can create a "unsecure app" with a root exploit in there if it doesn`t exist yet

@ariely how did you find this in my log (wich log?)
