I have this problem.

Now the RED LED is blinking 10 times...stops 3 seconds and start blibking again, the panel is off and I can't use the service menu.

It does not work.

In worst case you can replace mainboard. Buy one for model B650 and upgrade your tv.

I did it, TV works!

So you say the method mentioned above works? I just quote original article in case if links become damaged one day.

I looked here for a solution, but after reading all the messages (took me over one day) i could not find a solution for it. and thought i bricked my tv.
Allot of people with the same problem (not reading carefully)

I found a rather complex and risk-full solution, but being stupid as i am i tried it and it worked!!
be very careful!

Here is what i did;

• - Disconnect the power cable
• - (if you use a CI+ PMCIA card)remove the CI+ module
• - Remove all the screws form the back-end (12, I guess)
• - Remove the cable on the mainbord (see image down below)
• - Plugin the powercable (TV is now on standby)
• - Insert the code for getting into the service menu (info+menu+mute+standby)
• - the tv starts and the service menu shows up.
• - Now carefully connect the the lcd cable back to the main board. (be very careful)
• - Voila, here is the service menu back on screen
• - Now, recover the model number (eg LB550)
• - now save, by pressing the power-button (your tv shuts down)
• - As in a test turn on the tv and see if its working again.
• - Turn of the tv and remove the powercable
• - Place the backend together with screws

Its working again!

First I got rid of the blinking.
Here is what i did;

- Disconnect the power cable
- Remove the cable on the motherboard(jeroenb).
- Short-circuit the legs of the chip(as the WiKi).

- Disconnect the power cable

But I do not remember the correct order of these actions!! I've been doing these actions chaotically. At some time, I noticed that there is no blinking. Then do the method jeroenb.

I solved it and I made a video on youtube,
very easy, just with the remote control of the TV.
