After editing user and password in 04_04_samba.init and loading cifs.ko manually i can confirm samba is running when doing:

/mnt/etc/init.d/04_04_samba.init start

NFS also works like a charm, but PVR to NFS fails.

It says:

the variable $SAMYGODEVS seems to be empty, and therefore the script won't run properly.

this should be set in 02_04_vusb.init I guess, because I find references of it in 02_04_vusb.init.remi71 but
02_04_vusb.init.remi71 doesn't seem to be "updated" or "ready" for this release, I guess.

I'm stuck here. Any ideas?

you have to check related topics from d series(and c as well) to set up pvr trough nfs shares. honestly you're first with e series asking about this.
