Tool for the MessageBox Service on the TV

executing this .jar on ubuntu 8.04 gets this error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/swing/GroupLayout$Group

trying to compile the source gets:

~/Desktop/MessageBoxService/src/msgboxservice$ jar cf x.jar /home/bucket/Desktop/MessageBoxService/src/
~/Desktop/MessageBoxService/src/msgboxservice$
~/Desktop/MessageBoxService/src/msgboxservice$ java -jar x.jar
Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from x.jar


a C-code or .sh example would interest me too...
I do not understan how to start...
with this I could execute it on my ubuntu, m740,n900 or fritzbox or whatever gcc-linux-device
