When did the ES6300 lose it's ability to connect Wirelessly ?

When I first purchased my TV in 2012, I was connecting wirelessly via wifi for a year or so, before I had a LAN wired connection available.

I've now the need to re-connect wirlessly, as teh TV has now been moved to the bedroom ?

But the option is no longer seem to be available. I assume it's due to a firmware upgrade that has taken place.

The newest firmware 2008.0 caused this problem for some devices. İ dont have the problem tho.
İf you have root you can downgrade, or report the bug to samsung, so they can fix this.

Doesn't necessarily need root, fw 0000 is available for downgrade (EU model I guess...).

What's new in fw 2008 otherwise? Apart from problems?

reported the bug to Samsung, but they just want me to arrange for a local engineer to visit (£60 call out) and to replace the wifi module (at whatever cost that will be).

Better invest in a cheap chinese wifi/ethernet bridge for less than 10 bucks, or use wired for free

Or you can search for seconf hand module on ebay and replace it by yourself. Nothing dificult here.
