Perhaps this is old news, but it seem to me that perhaps some SHARP LED 3D TVs are using Samsung Firmware. At least if you're looking in the ES Firmware 1029.0:
./T-MST10PDEUC/image/exe/resource/FRC3D_FW/SHARP/FIRMWARE_SHA.BIN
I wonder what exact models that would that be etc...
Anyone knows more about this?

Re: Are SHARP 3D TV's using Samsung Firmware?
a friend of mine has a sharp argos with this extra color led. i was wondering as it looks allmost same and a lot of menu structure does also, if it not samsung firmware or vice versa. have no idea how or where to check this though. it doesnt have 3D and it would require 200mhz panel minimum but this would be really cool if it can be converted to 3D tv

nope , FRC3D_FW is downloadable firmware for Sharp LCD Panels with FRC Onboard used in some sammy s , original 3D sharp use mediatek CPU and not have any firmware from samsung
