ES7000 vs ES8000 panel
Re: ES7000 vs ES8000 panel
No, I haven't. I still do not see any reason to install it - I'm waiting for some specific use Samygo. For now - I have the laptop with Openelec with remote controller which gives me SAMBA / SSH / TFTP / UPNP/ IPTV/Radio... etc... plugged in the hdmi and mostly I use it. I'm on it maybe when samygo will ofer PVR from any source (not only from digital tv/sat) then i will install it.
Re: ES7000 vs ES8000 panel
Hello vanisz,
First of all, thank you for all informations given.
But...
1. Can you tell me what are parameters for "White Balance" in your 46ES7000 (even if you changed it to ES8000) when you go in Standard Service Menu:
Sub Brightness
R Offset
G Offset
B Offset
Sub Contrast
R-Gain
G-Gain
B-Gain
2. I've seen there is an option to save DATA/parameters to USB and then Restore it. And another with USB Boot Option at TV startup.
Do you know how it works and how can I use it?
Best regards

kasimodo :
Sub Brightness 128
R-Offset 128
G-Offse 128
B-Offset 128
Sub Contrast 134
R-Gain 133
G-Gain 128

I've check Sub brightness, R,G,B Offset - and in all tv models i've been check (D610, D6800, e7000, D5500) -there is always value of 128.
G-Gain is always 128 to.
There are small differences in Sub Contrast (value between 134-136) and R Gain (111-154) and B Gain (165-185).

Re: ES7000 vs ES8000 panel
Thank you for your fast reply. Are you sure it's for 46'' ?
Someone on another forum gave me other values for 40''...
Sub Contrast 134
R-Gain 161
G-Gain 128
B-Gain 164
Why are there different values between 40 and 46''? I don't understand.

Re: ES7000 vs ES8000 panel
I have asked 2 of my coleges that have 40 and 46 es7000 they both have different settings from mine:
40es7000:
Sub contrast 134
Rgain 146
Ggain 128
Bgain 185
46es7000
Sub contrast 134
Rgain 168
Ggain 128
Bgain 176
I think this values are individual for each panel. As I wrote some settings are common (sub bright ess,rgb offset and ggain).
