I allready changed model type but im a bit afraid of flashing 6300 firmware.

Gents,

sorry that I hijack your thread, but I am new to this board and like to share some information
about my ES-series smart TV.

I have just written down all service menu settings of my UE40ES5700 into an excel spreadsheet
and I would appreciate if you could share the most important settings of an ES6300 model with us.

I wouldn't have clue about what number refers to which piece of hardware.

Regarding the 3D extension of the ES5xxx; the rather small price increase between these models
could shed light on whether it could be possible to change it. However, I wonder if the transmitter
for the shutter glasses is built into the TV set, which I regard as a waste of money if Samsung
would put it in an ES5700. Where does the signal come from anyway.

What do you think?

Cheers
Stefan

Thanks! But could you export that to a text file in CSV or TSV format instead? That way we can put it on our Wiki.

New shutter glasses uses BlueTooth whereas older ones uses IR. It could be that if you do such an upgrade that you need to enable the shutter transmitter, if there is one. (I don't know!)

I could do a similar service menu setting list off my ES6100 if it would help after I replace the motherboard?

I think you can turn on transmitter if you turn on KR3D and 3D in service menue (if there is a transmitter build in), but i dont have 3d glasses to try

Man, I owe you a beer. I just had to register on this forum to say thank you, thank you, thank you....I was playin around with the service menu (never a good idea, I know, but the things i changed didn't look like they would do anything bad....) and didn't receive any TV anymore. So thanks a lot for posting this list, it really helped me!

I added the 6500 (should be the same as the 6300) to the wiki: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/The_Se ... ES-series)
