Posted this Info somewhere in the main discussion thread but I think Its quite unfindable there...
Problem:
After opening the Camera App on your TV ES7000/ES8000 (with SamyGO running) you have only a black screen right after start and the camera won't work properly.
NO Pictures are possible, NO LiveView possible, ONLY recording an movie is OK (but without LiveView)
Solution:
Use your favorite FTP client (e.g. FileZilla) and go to folder init.d:
and edit file 01_01_catch_crap.init with your favorite Editor (e.g. Notepad++):
Find this line:
And change it to:
Please be sure that the file rights of 01_01_catch_crap.init are as they were before!
Explanation:
The # will deactivate the command mount -t tmpfs none /mtd_ram. This could be clear.
I don't know exactly what this line has to do normally. But its definitely this line which causes the camera to fail.
mount -t tmpfs must be something to mount an Temp File System... For what? Don't know! If somebody of you has some infos please feel free to post it.
