EPG web UI

Hello everyone!
I have 2 questions:
1) Is possible to change standby mode? I mean that not totally turn off the TV, but only the screen, back-light etc. I wand to have network access.
2) About EPG: Anyone knows who is the cache file, that store EPG info?

My dream is that have a webpage that shows channel list and EPG and finally the possibility to record a TV program using the EPG info.
Is it possible to do that?
