alessio71 wrote:Please, let me ask you one last question:
woldn't be possible to launch a copy of the new firmware (unpacked and exeDSP patched) from the usb? Using the run.sh hotplug feature?
the problem is that exeDSP resets the usb ports on launch, so you need to "path-out" this also in your version.
before you ask, no i don't know where you have to hexedit it. :-(
I know it sound difficult but at least I don't risk (and I don't want to) to brick my BD...
a bit confused, do you have now a patchwd firmware flashed or not?
Thank you again,
Alessio

P.S.
Isn't possbile yet to use an USB keyboard connected to the BD? I see that all the imput modules for usb are missing...

Code: Select all

insmod: can't insert '/mtd_down/widgets/user/SamyGOE/SamyGO/lib/modules/2.6.30.9/kernel/drivers/usb/input/usbhid.ko': unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter
insmod: can't insert '/mtd_down/widgets/user/SamyGOE/SamyGO/lib/modules/2.6.30.9/kernel/drivers/hid/hid.ko': unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter
the modules aren't missing, then you can see the message that it can't be loaded...
what is the output of?:

Code: Select all

dmesg

what do you mean by auto clean? delete files from that directory? if i do that i lose even the run.sh autostart didnt i?
the firmware i instaled is for difrent model right. so how i cen revert back using only run.sh i dont have video output from bd player on my tv so i cant update by menu.
if any one know something please help
im a noob in this

Ok, I won't ask :)

Yes, i'm running a patched FW. juuso told me that to launch a newer version of exeDSP I have to have the WHOLE same FW running. I don't want to mess YOUR FW to prevent the brick of the BD (just I did two weeks ago), that's why I asked you about a launch from a much safer place like an external USB key.
