HT-D5500 Seems Bricked

Hi All,
So I was trying out a different exeDSP for my HT-D5500. I set my user.sh to go to user.sh.safe in case the new exeDSP didn't work.
I booted into the HT, and it wouldn't boot, so I restarted the machine, only to find it now gets stuck at the logo screen...
I have tried putting a USB in with a run.sh, but it doesn't seem to be run at start.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but what I see happening is that the USB is accessed in the first couple of seconds and then gets turned off, then on again, gets read and then nothing happens.
Any idea on how I can fix it?
Thanks
