@Murdock when you are watching movie or something and press pause or fwd or change subtitles etc, the playbar stays on unless you press return button. I think it should disappear after few seconds, not sure if it's possible.

Thank you @Murdock. Is there any way to add other movie sources? maybe other languages.

This is exactly how I designed this behavior. There is a technical reason for this because the Javascript's SetTimout function does not work properly on Samsung Smart TVs.
Maybe I will add such a setting option in the future.

Maybe I'll add more torrent sources in the future.

That’s why I added the “RECEIVE TORRENT” option, so you can play any magnet link or torrent file in your television.

Thanks.

Version 0.34 available!

I completely re-wrote the torrent receiver function for better compatibility.
I also modified the favourite list handling to resolve TMBD image missing error.

When I try to watch TV shows I can't watch more then one episode
After finish I try to start next episode then it says there is no torrent, then wait 5-10 sec
then when it starts never find subtitle and constantly has buffering.
Only solution is to exit Raven shut down TV turn on TV start Raven and select next episode.

Why is server buffer size only 64 MB can be higher to avoid constantly buffering,
or maybe to add option to buffering or download video file to USB stick.

Can you add option to add torrent from Torrent receiver to favourites and
option to add subtitle file to torrent receiver.

opensubtitles is like some kind of scum, almost all subtitles on my language are unusable,
they are totally retarded, it looks like they are generated by google translator.

Is it possible to add more sources for subtitle eg. this is for former YU (BiH, HR, SLO, SRB and ENG) subtitles page: https://titlovi.com

Hello gogo!

Which version are you using?
On what TV Shows does this error occur?
Make sure log file creation is turned off!

Please record me a video so i can see the error.

64 MB buffer is enough for the server. The television have separate memory buffer for video playback, most of the time that cause the buffering.
I can add settings for this buffer. Torrent health (seed/peer) is a big inpact to. Please don't expect to play high resolution and high bitrate videos.
The processor and memory is not enough for this. I can add USB support to, but USB is much slower than memory.

For all other questions, my answer is yes. I can do it.

This behavior I have an all Raven version.
I Have last version 0.34. Torrent health (seed/peer) is not problem I think (torrent have 20 seeder), when i restart tv and Raven then playback work normally, Download speed is not problem i think 8192Kbps
I watch Star trek discovery on that way (as i describe in previous post) I season, tried to watch Star Trek Picard I watch 1. 2. 3. ep
Now I'm trying to watch The Expanse, same behavior.
I just try to watch American ninja movie, it work good without error and after 20-30 min it freezes and restart tv.
I will try test tomorrow with log disabled to see if there difference.

Ok.
The log file creation function is for debugging only because it writes data to the internal storage continuously. There is a big difference in speed and stability.
When turned on Javascript can overloads the memory and the cpu, and Watchdog restarts the television.
I think I will remove log feature because it is dangerous.

I rewrited download handling and communication. Please update and test.

There is someone else who is having the same error?

Murdock, congratulations and thanks for this app, it is amazing and with a good compatibility to my TV (UN46FH5303G)

Just a little something, I'm Brazilian and subtitles are essential for me. However, I see that the subs APIs are not finding many subtitles translated into my language.
Is it possible to have an API that searches for OpenSubtitles subs?

(sorry for the bad english, i'm using translator)
