BBC and other apps use javascript to communicate with their own servers. The app request a video then the server send a respond back with the direct video url that Samsung TV or other device can play.

Video hosting sites like vidto.me not work in this way. Their direct video urls is hidden because many reasons. (Revenue, direct linking, ...) + The video url is bounded with the player device's IP or/and MAC address to.
To resolve these hidden urls White Raven needs to read the website content. This is the problem because javascript can't read other websites content. (CORS)

So, a "server side" program is required. The simplets and free way is to run it on the tv itself.

Other natural ways to run the server:
Free: Run it on a PC, tablet or phone.
Paid: Run it on a webserver, vps or cloud hosting with python, golang, etc... installation. (Big bandwidth usage.)

Speculate way:
Iframe content hacking. (Almost every site block this. + Dangerous, because application can't block popup windows and if a popup is fired then the program will not respond anymore to remote keys.)

i have installed that app in h series non rooted, it works well, only with zapping from movie to movie or from top to bottom is slow, but he plays movies well, and I hope subtitles in the next app and movie info too

App works in my TV, i noticed a few things (though i haven't really checked it out that much).

But it would be nice to have to option to output surround sound, subtitles, and the option to mark a show or a movie as favorite.

I thought your app is going to be made free for us, and you're going to ask people to pay 2 $ per month, I thought we would pay 2 $ to watch free movies, but you would have to withdraw money from that app. are you crazy, torrent link is free

why do we have to pay for, if we also upload to and others to watch movies by peer to peer, you should not prophesy of people who also stream while watching, you can leave the program on an open source for free
