Hello guys,

I have a Samsung UE40F7000S-NON MST

I never had problems connecting to my TV with the SamyGo PVR Decoder but, all of a sudden, I get this error message:

"Unable to determine your TV's telnet port. The PVR Decoder cannot function without this. Seek help on the SamyGo forum."

Nothing has changed:

-The SamyGo widget activates correctly
-FTP works and USB drive gets found
-Firmware update is still blocked (T-FXPDEUC-1118.0)
-Modem\Router is still the same and Telnet is enabled

Any suggestions please?

Thank you

Note that this program works fine when ran through Wine as well. Switch to the plain "Windows" skin to avoid the black UI elements. Bug report regarding that in Wine's bug tracker: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48566

Hello,

I have same TV.

1. Set Firmware to 0000, as described in the Forum, viewtopic.php?f=63&t=11378
2. then load any Firmware, for example 2103,
3. then do root for MST, viewtopic.php?f=63&t=7982&sid=2ceea8afe ... 0c940258e1

so you get root and can decode your recordings

Hi!

i used this Tool for Ages on my old E-Series and it worked great.

Right now i want to use it on my HU7590 (FW: T-NT14UDEUC-1310.0) and it always fails at the stage "Uploading / Executing KeyDropper". I tried different settings but no luck so far. Has anyone a suggestion? Maybe point me to a logfile? Or has this to be done differently for my H-Series?

Thanks in advance!

Edit 1:

Running the keyDropper manually throws no errors, but the keyfiles won't get generated:

Code: Select all

# /mtd_rwcommon/samyGOso -p $(pidof exeTV || pidof exeDSP) -l /mtd_rwcommon/lib
PVRdumpkeys.so
samyGOso v1.2.4 (c) bugficks 2013, sectroyer 2014
Injecting '/mtd_rwcommon/libPVRdumpkeys.so' resident: '0'
Succeeded.
could this be related to the fact, that i have 2 USB-Drives connected?

Code: Select all

# df -h | grep "/dtv/usb/"
/dev/sda1 29.8G 223.8M 29.6G 1% /dtv/usb/sda1
/dev/sdb 14.5G 147.3M 14.4G 1% /dtv/usb/sdb
/dev/sdc 482.0K 4.0K 478.0K 1% /dtv/usb/sdc
Where sda1 is a FAT32 Drive used for the network-root, sdb is the real-recording device and sdc is the virtual samygo-drive

Edit 2:

ok, this has nothing to do with the ordering of USB-Devices. I moved everything from the FAT32-Rooting-Device over to the ext4-Recording device and unplugged the previous rooting-stick. Root is still working as it should but still, no keys are generated by libPVRdumpkeys.so

Edit 3:
changing to /mtd_rwarea also does not help.

what i can see is, that as soon as i run

Code: Select all

/mtd_rwarea/samyGOso -p $(pidof exeTV || pidof exeDSP) -l /mtd_rwarea/libPVRd
umpkeys.so
the process exeTV crashes and the TV only displays a still-image. audio continues to be played

This also happens when using samyGOso v1.2.5

I have a F series and also sometimes a similar error. Mostly helps, in samgyGoPVRdecoder the following:

Tools -> Force all upload to payloads to tv (...)

After that, the decoding worked flawlessly.

hope that helps

First, if recordings were done with other mainboard, they're lost, decryption key is specific to mainboard.
Second, I think keydumper is E/F only and PVRdecoder works another way with H (don't remember, no H here, you dig :) )
Otherwise you can inject that stuff and then all recordings can be decrypted with a unique/common given key.
I do NOT receive any PM. Please use forum.
