Btw, did you have to fake EDID? If yes, which method did you use?

thanks in advance,

Sari

Most people come with no experience, just read and learn :) .

It should work without problem on your TV model, but you first need root, as for 99% stuff from here.

I guess you're posting in wrong thread, here is HDMI passthrough patch, not FakeEDID. However, you should have to apply BOTH patches for HDMI audio to passthrough.
Log looks fine, 'failed's are due to different TV series checking. Btw, what is your TV model?

If no sound is produced, it means FakeEDID was successful, now you have to apply HDMIpassthru (first post from there).

ps: sorry you had already told your TV model just above ;)

@zolechat first of all thanks for the patch, I'm going to test soon it on my 6500F.

I wonder why it should not work on ARC?
Would it be possible to implement it? I'm willing to contribute :)

Because it's already the main and only function of ARC to do passthrough natively, so there's nothing to patch. :)
I've read your other post, if you can't get it to work it probably means that one device of your chain disallow it or doesn't support it, or compatibility issue. Problem doesn't come from TV, as long as you use HDMI2(ARC) port and have HDMI-CEC enabled.
