hello there this is my 1st post on the forum

my 55f7500 developed a problem 2 weeks ago where it starts to restart and reboot on its own .. every 10 seconds a reboot .. so i contacted samsung and they said it is a mainboard issue and it needs to be changed but they don't have available parts right now

my tv model is UA55F7500BRXEG made in Egypt and the mainboard model no. B94-06324J .. the problem the only piece i found was 200 $ and doesn't offer shipping to my country .. so i searched ebay and found a mainboard "UN60F7500AF Main Board BN94-06185B BN97-07051A" it looks exactly the same as my tv mainboard

some questions here : 1- will tv size matters in changing main boards ?! or it is irrelevant?!!! and tv will work ?!!
2- will tv region matters here ?! can i interchange mainboards of different regions ?!
3- will ( replacing 55f7500 board with 60f7500 board of different region ) works ?!
4- will trying the other board cause a further malfunctions to tv panel or power supply

thanks

Hello Mustafa,

Let me know if you have solved your problem or not yet.

I own a UN55F6350 TV, and recently it developed a problem. Each button I press on the TV remote causes the TV to reboot. It's a smaller issue than yours, but still, you can not mute or change inputs or control the volume of the TV. Quiet frustrating. Naturally, Samsung Customer service even here is the USA are there only to direct you to take your TV for maintenace and shell your money. To make it short for you, I have replaced my mainboard with exactly the same type; BN94-06168U (naturally the mainboard is not new and definitely was harvested from a broken screen TV).
The TV worked but the display was flipped up-side-down! After some reserach I found that a mainboard can be used in different types of models, and to make it correctly work, you will need to get into the service menu (not the user menu) and change the TV model to coincide with yours. In my case the mainboard came from a UN50F6350.

I definitely wouldn't recommed you to replace a BN94-06324J with a BN94-06185B. It could work, but perhaps there will be a lot of parameters to change using the service menu. Using the service menu can brick your TV and then you will have to buy another board. If you don't know what you are looking for to change in the service menu, you could lose your way. Many forums will tell you not to use the factory reset as it will replace the current parameters with the default ones. Be careful.

Hey guys ! I'm having the same problem...

I have a 51" samsung plasma, bricked. I have to change the board, but, I can't find the same of my tv. My tv model is PL51F4500, and the board is BN94-06195D. The other number in my board is BN97-07114C

I found boards from a similar tv sold in USA (PN51F4500). That plasma tv use the BN94-06194X, with BN97-07114A. And here comes another interesting thing... The board of the PN51 (USA) can be used on the PN43F4500 plasma. In my country, the (similar) PL43F4500 are sold.

So... 2 questions:

- Can I use the PN51 board in my PL51?

- It will work if I change the board of my PL51 with a board of some PL43?

Thanks a lot guys. Greetings from Chile !

I bet eeprom reset may help you. But need to be sure where it is located first. Search for "eeprom reset" on forum and wiki.

(you will need to investigate your mainboard very close and find atmel 8-pin microchip near SoC).

Old topic But I would like to add my recent experience: YOU CAN SECURELY exchange motherboards between different tv sizes but within the same series.. Usually these motherboards DIFFER ONLY in the last letter pe
Mainboard Samsung UE60F7000SLXZF BN94-06186D AND Mainboard Samsung UE46F7000 BN94-06186B

I am not convinced of that. I tried several different mainboards switch between by plasmas F8500 size 51 and 60.

I have tried to reset the EEPROM, copy the EEPROM and still not solve it.
