Adding SilverLight extension to built in browser on F7000

Guys, I bought an UE55F7000 and I'm very satisfied with it.
However realized that there is no Silverlight support in its built in browser and many of my favorite sites use Silverlight.
Questions:
- is there any way to install the SilverLight (have tried install it form official Microsoft website but have no sufficient right on TV to do that - think that I should be do itwith develop account, right?)
- what kind of browser is on F7000?
- is it possible to install a custom (ie. Chrome, Firefox, etc.) browser as an additional app (or other way)?

Thanks in advance for your help!

It's highly unlikely that you'll ever be able to install Silverlight on the TV. Microsoft don't provide a Linux version of Silverlight and they only provide a ARM version of Silverlight for Windows RT tablets. As Samsung TV's use Linux as an OS and ARM as a processor architecture, there is no compatible version of Silverlight available.

I believe the browser is Webkit based.

Not to sure about installing an alternate browser, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible as long as you have root and the required libraries.

Expect them to STOP supporting it but do NOT expect that somebody will START supporting it ;)

"The streaming is available in Italy only", no need for Silverlight then
Btw, RAI doesn't have some HbbTV compliant app to watch contents on TV?

I just answered to your question "Is there still stuff using Silverlight??" :D

RAI has an app but for past/ondemand programs so useless for realtime tv.

 i don't watch "normal" tv ... and i've used silverlight to watch RAI's news channel when abroad ... if it'll die, i'll don't cry.

There is no "if'. It's dead man, completely dead :) Even Flash IS dying :) Not to mention Silvershit :) Less and less sites supports it...
