Hello
I have samsung smart tv ue55 hu8580
Sw version: T-GFP9DEUC-1370.0

I have previously got the information that I can downgrade and root my tv ( viewtopic.php?f=75&t=11379 )
but I know nothing of it, except that I have to first downgrade to fw 0000.0 than to upgrade to some fw version via usb and then to root (there are few methods, over network, some skype refuled method) and after successfull root I guess then I can install oscam?

I suppose these are thr steps:

1) install fw 0000.0 from usb
2) install samygo.so (dont know how)
3) install libFWdowngrade (I guess from usb again)
4) root with one of the mrthods (with ftp and putty)
5) install oscam

??

Please help with this, I have been reading this all day long and it is all very confusing to me, there are too many tutorials, ways, I dont know which is for easiest for me.
Thank you.

1. Download and "update" by 0000
2. Update with FW which you want
3. Make root
4. Install Oscam

PS: Do not use 0000 FW for rooting, it has nonsens

Thank you for your effort and the only one that helped.
Ive read that it can be a problem if I downgrade to too old fw, in my case from 1370 to 1230 ? (Blsck screen, then something with entering service menu with fast pressing buttons) What do you think of it ?

Which method to use for rooting? Skype refuled or network?

Also where to get this path:

Where is this path ?

/mnt/opt/privateer/usr/bin

Is it in tv (with ftp) after installling 1230 fw or somewhere else?
Regards

I dont get the order of the things?!

Nobody is helpful here, I am registered to hundreds of forums about cardsharing and enigma2 but this is the one the rare forums that nobody is trying to reply.

Just write the steps, especially because errors here can be very expensive.

is it like this :

1 install fw 0000.0 (I downloaded it and aftwer extraction it has two folders and info.txt file) from here viewtopic.php?f=75&t=11379

2 install T-GFP9DEUC_2130.2.EXE (I guess with samsung 2014 tv fw guide that has installation first and then inserting usb to tv ? ) from here : viewtopic.php?f=70&t=9497#p77431 (spoiler links)

3 root with NETWORK method this link viewtopic.php?f=70&t=9622

4 install samGOso viewtopic.php?f=63&t=6186

5 install libFWdowngrade via ftp and telnet viewtopic.php?f=70&t=9497

6 install oscam viewtopic.php?f=70&t=9260 OR viewtopic.php?f=70&t=10808

???

are these the right steps ?

please, just yes or no

No :)

Why would you need libFWdowngrade when you already downgraded through 0000? Think a bit.

ps: oscam offtopic there, thanks.

After reading almost all forum, at least 200 pages I got the conclusion:
I dont need libfwdongrade and samyGo.so if I downgrade fw 0000.0 and updgrade to gfp9deuc 1190

After that I only need to root with network method.

Am I correct?

Thanks.

Fw 0000.0 has two folders and one file on root of the usb flash drive.
I just insert it and turn on tv, wait and do the update and after that turn off the tv and insert another usb flash drive with fw gfp9deuc 1190 and turn the tv on again and uldate fw and thats it?

After that only root is left, right?

You should waste less time on asking and more on doing :)
