No, but you still can plug e.g. an Android TV stick/box to HDMI.

Hi all
I found this topic most relevant to my question
I have a Samsung Smart TV - UE50EH5300K that has always for some reason had issues with DLNA/UPnP (not quite sure what one)

The TV has an Ethernet connection using a spare Sky+ WiFi Connector that is connected via the WPS button(s). I have given the TV a static IP by setting it in the TV's "Connection Settings" screen.

The internet on the TV works fine, I can browse the internet, update the "Apps" and everything just fine. If I go to "Sources" where I have DVB, Analog, HDMI... etc I can see all of the networked computers that have shared folders and I can select them and play movies, music... etc.
However if I try and make it "Detect IP automatically" it fails to find the TV even though It's definitely connected to the internet.

What is wrong with my setup, how can I troubleshoot and more so how do I fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
