Debug console un48j5000

Is it possible to enable debug console for the un48j5000? The service menu only gives 2 relevant options : "USB Serial" and "rs232 jack. I set USB SERIAL to ON, and rs232 jack to UART (only other choice is FANET). Other guides say that debug should be an option but it doesn't show up-to-date for me.
There's no 3.5 mm jack for me to plug an exlink cable in. I've tried USB to USB, as well as USB to serial, and I can't get any data to appear. Does this TV support exlink? If so, how can I access the debug console?
